MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes signed linebacker Kyle Knox, kicker Quinn van Gylswyk and running back Shaquille Murray-Lawrence on Monday.

All three players were free agents.

Knox, a six-foot-one, 220-pound American, spent the last two seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He had 33 tackles in 17 games last year, including eight as a starter.

Van Gylswyk, a Victoria native, was taken in the third round, No. 26 overall, by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2016 CFL draft. He played in one game with the Riders in 2016, hitting a 54-yard field goal while handling kickoff duties.
