Nov 15, 2018 | 1:00 PM

The Tisdale RCMP is under new leadership.

Sgt. Daryl Andrusiak stated in a letter to the Town of Tisdale on Oct. 12 he accepted a transfer and would start in a new position three days later.

Brad Hvidston, Tisdale’s chief administrative officer, told northeastNOW town staff previously heard rumours Andrusiak would leave the detachment.

“We’re sad to see him go,” Hvidston said. “He was a well-respected member of the RCMP here in town. He’s been through a lot in his short time here. It’s my understanding he’s still going to live in the community and still going to be around.”
