Pleasantdale residents being told not to drink tap water

Nov 15, 2018 | 3:59 PM

Residents of Pleasantdale are being asked not to drink their tap water.

A SaskAlert has been issued, stating that there was a malfunction of a chemical feeder at the village’s water treatment plant.

The malfunction allowed for elevated levels of chlorine to enter the distribution system.

People are being cautioned not to try to treat the water themselves, and to use only bottled water for all consumption, cooking or food preparations, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and making ice.
