Jan 14, 2019 | 2:09 PM

The agriculture trade show season is getting started in Saskatoon with Crop Production Week.

Prairieland Park agriculture manager Lori Cates said this year’s edition of the long-running event will feature a dedicated seminar Wednesday on digital technolgies.

“Farming is changing, it’s changing faster than most of us can keep up to. Digital agriculture, the new technology that’s out there is just amazing,” she said Monday on The Brent Loucks Show.

The trade show is expected to draw around 20,000 people to Prairieland Park from Jan.14-18.  With many of those people coming in from outside the province along with exhibitors from across Canada and the U.S., Cates said the week is also a blessing for many local businesses.
