Two calls for Melfort Fire Department result in no injuries

A pair of calls to Melfort Fire and Rescue on Friday.

The department responded to a business at Stonegate Shopping Centre, and an apartment on Stovel Ave. W in Melfort. Both were for reports of fire alarms ringing.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the alarms were a result of water supply issues.

The Melfort Fire and Rescue Facebook page said “no emergency existed at either location, and no injuries were reported.”
